The Maritzburg Musicians Club is gathering tonight (Tuesday May
26) to say a fond farewell and pay tribute to Jamie Visagie of The Red Door.
Supplying the music will be an epic line-up consisting of
the stalwarts of the KZN Music scene, each having played important roles in
keeping MMC alive and strong over the past 30 years. Fun Pan Latino, talented
Doc Paul and Andy Arbuckle, musical Ilan Lax and Friends and the
ever-entertaining Hairy Legged Lentil Eaters.
Roger O’Neill, MMC organiser says: “Let's get as many people
to honour Jamie and The Red Door's commitment and support to The Maritzburg
Musician's Club and the years of magic he has performed behind the sound desk.
This will be our last meeting of the season before our annual winter break so
keep in tune for news!
Entrance R40 and the music will start sharply at 20h00. The
Red Door is situated in Quarry Rd, off Victoria Road, in Pietermaritzburg. Car
