Popular pianist Rocco de Villiers brings a country
inspired show in true Rocco -style to Rhumbelow Theatre Durban and
Pietermaritzburg. The music is from his latest bestseller album, Countrykeys.
A lot has been said about country music, some good, and
some bad. But secretly we all love a Stetson, cowboy boots, denim, diamonds …
and Dolly.
Some Broken Hearts
Never Mend, crazy, Country Roads, music box dancer, How Great Thou Art, and
originals by Rocco himself, are just a few of the tunes to be enjoyed in this
production - and maybe even a medley of country tunes, a singalong and request
time…
Growing up on a farm in the Free State, now living in
Johannesburg, Rocco is a Countryboy – almost! In this show khaki is as
glamorous as sequence! Rocco tells the tales in-between the music. The ultimate
instrumental entertainment. A little bit of country, a whole lot of Rocco!

June 5 and 6 at 20h00 and June 7 at 13h30 and 18h30 –
Rhumbelow Theatre, Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road
(Venues open 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner)
Tickets R120 (R100 pensioners). Take along food picnic baskets.
Braais will be available at the Durban venue only. There is limited secure
parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be
brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Durban is situated in and Rhumbelow
Pietermaritzburg is in the Allan Wilson Shellhole in Pietermaritzburg.
