Acclaimed South African musicians Christopher Duigan and
James Grace will be joining forces once again to create a unique evening of
music. Both are noted for the individual profiles they enjoy on major concert
stages as well as on-air playlists (ClassicFM and Fine Music Radio).
Their programme at the L'Apertivo Venue, Gateway, on May 26,
however, includes many of their own duo arrangements and improvisations on pop
melodies, jazz standards, Latin milongas and Spanish classics.
Their session this time will include Over the Rainbow, Fields of Gold, Angel, plus Spain, La Vida Breve, Libertango and individual guitar and piano
solos. Duigan’s own composition, Indigo,
a favourite at any Duigan and Grace concert, will complete the programme.
The performance takes place at 19h30 on May 26. L'Apertivo
Venue is situated at 9 Aurora Drive behind the Royal Palm Hotel in the vicinity
of Gateway in uMhlanga. Entrance R200 includes Spanish tapas and welcome drink.
