SWOONERS AND CROONERS

Join the Gee Jays at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof as they take audiences on a “Sentimental Journey” back to the time when music was music.

Presented by the popular Gee Jays: Gary McKenzie, John Didlick and Grant Bell, Swooners and Crooners promises a trip down memory lane, and back again, with some of those long forgotten songs from such great artists like Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole , Louis Armstrong, Frank  Sinatra ,  Dean Martin,  Tony Bennett, The Platters  and more.

The trip moves through the eras of Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Roy Orbison, The Beatles,  Barry Manilow, Lionel Richie,  Wet Wet Wet to name but a few.

Some of the numbers featured are Mack The Knife, That’s Life, Wonderful World,  That’s Amore,  Cracklin’ Rosie, I Write The Songs, I Left My Heart In San Francisco, Just The Way You Are, Three Times A Lady, Let It Be and many more.

All this, interwoven with the notorious Gee Jays own style of comic patter go to make up an evening’s entertainment not to be forgotten. It’s “An enjoyable and nostalgic journey for young and old alike...”

Swooners and Crooners is presented in “supper theatre” format at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof. There are two performances only: Tonight (June 26) when buffet supper will be served from 19h00 (show at 20h30) and June 28 with a carvery lunch from 12h30 (show at 14h00).
