(Marc Kay & Adam Doré)
In association with AUT (Actors Unemployed Company), Rhumbelow
Theatre will present AUC’s third Rhumbelow Theatre family show “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” featuring Marc
Kay and Adam Doré.
Adapted for the stage by Marc Kay from the Robert Browning
version of the classic tale, and directed by Clinton Small, the show captures
the very essence of this wonderful story with all the characters from the
original story … and a few that aren’t! Performers will race about the stage enacting
one of their favourite stories, filled with magic, comedy, shadow puppets,
audience interaction… and RATS!
Make sure to bring your little ones along to the Rhumbelow
for a fun-filled adventure you’ll never forget! A great show, with lots of
audience interaction, The Pied Piper of
Hamelin will keep you chuckling long after the curtains have closed!
The Pied Piper of
Hamelin runs from June 30 to July 19 at Rhumbelow Theatre. After the show,
a short workshop will be held as an introduction to Shadow Puppet Theatre (run
by the performers, and at no extra cost!). Snacks and juices are on sale. Tickets
R60 booked through email roland@stansell.za.net
Shows take place either at 10h00 or 14h00. Check dates and times
carefully so as to plan around load shedding – these can be found at http://events.durbantheatre.com/
