The Pietermaritzburg City Orchestra will present their
Winter Variety Concert on June 13 in Hilton.
The evening will offer an entertaining mix of musical
genres, ranging from light classical such as the Can-Can from Offenbach's Orpheus
in the Underworld, Tchaikovsky's Sleeping
Beauty Waltz, and the Danse Macabre
by Saint-Saëns, right through to some modern masterpieces of film and theatre,
including music from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom
of the Opera, and selections from The
Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings and Pirates
of the Caribbean.
The Winter Variety Concert All promises to be a fun-filled
evening for the whole family. It will take place at 19h00 on June 13 at Hilton
