The Drakensberg Boys Choir School is looking for young, male
music graduates and undergraduates who want to gain experience in performance
and teaching, whilst completing their studies in the field of music and/or
stage craft (sound/lighting/production).
Musicians are needed for drums, percussion, guitars, bass, keyboards,
orchestral instruments, sound & lighting engineers.
Opportunities include performing with the renowned choir in
a range of music styles (rock, pop, jazz, gospel, classical, world music, etc)
as well as joining the choir on tour (locally and abroad) where the DBCS will arrange
masterclasses with industry specialists at top music institutions in all
destinations.
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend, accommodation
and full board (meals/laundry). “Earn while you learn” by teaching private
lessons, aided by the latest trends in music education.
