Every month, Studio Universal glitzes up Wednesdays with a
linked selection of big films starring the biggest names in showbiz. The
inimitable Nicolas Cage is this month’s star.
Adrenaline-fuelled car heist favourite Gone in 60 Seconds can be seen on August 19, with Cage joined by
Angelina Jolie and Vinnie Jones.
Snake Eyes follows
on August 26. This time out Cage plays a corrupt Atlantic City cop who ends up
way out of his depth after he meets a mysterious blonde and finds himself
embroiled in a political assassination plot. Can he make it out with his skin
intact, and maybe save his soul in the process?
Finally, at 21h45 on August 26, Red Rock West is the story of a regular guy mistaken for a hitman,
who makes the obviously unwise decision to take the money and run. Cage is
joined by the equally terrifying Dennis Hopper, plus Lara Flynn Boyle.
