2015 DUT CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL

The 2015 DUT Children’s Theatre Festival profiles award-winning playwright Neil Coppen and will feature four plays for young audiences, all penned by him, currently being staged at the Courtyard Theatre at the Durban University of Technology from 21 – 23 September 2015.

The DUT Department of Drama and Performance Studies’ 2015 DUT Children’s Theatre Festival, which is now in its fifth year, is proud to profile and celebrate four plays by South Africa’s award-winning playwright Neil Coppen an outstanding performer himself, who writes and directs his own works both in South Africa and internationally.

Performances are as follows:

September 21: Grandpa Grump and the Magical Junk Shop (09h30) and Marika Morkels (11h30)

September 22: Marvellous Mixtures (09h30) and Marika Morkels (11h30)

September 23: Grandpa Grump and the Magical Junk Shop (09h30) and Tin Bucket Drum (11h30)

The 2015 DUT Children’s Theatre Festival runs at the Courtyard Theatre at the Durban University of Technology from September 21 to 23.
