Peruse locally-produced goodies at Sibaya’s Food and Craft
Market over Heritage Day weekend.
Buoyed by the success of its Food and Craft Market, Sibaya
Casino and Entertainment Kingdom is extending it to the end of the year. The
next market featuring stalls and exhibits of homemade, handcrafted goods, and
homeware, takes place at the Imbizo Conference Centre over the Heritage Day
weekend, from September 25 to 27.
Aside from fresh foods and products, the market will also
have stalls selling quality handcrafted arts, crafts, clothing and other
products.
“The KwaZulu-Natal region is the source of an abundant
supply of stunning, natural goods and colourful crafts. This market provides a
wonderful platform for showcasing what our community has to offer. Buying local
feeds our local economy so we hope the community will come out in support of
this family-centred event,” says Belinda Jelf, the Marketing Manager at Sibaya.
The next Sibaya Food and Craft Market is scheduled for November
6 to 8. People and businesses keen to showcase their products should contact
Narisha Amichand on 083 800 0255.
The market will be open on Friday from 13h00 to 23h00 and on
Saturday and Sunday from 11h00 to 23h00. Entrance is free.
