Timeless Legends in
association with Catalina UnLtd presents the premiere season of Flight of Fantasy – A Musical Revue,
which runs at Catalina Theatre over the forthcoming weekend.
Indicating the new
production’s novel concept, the show’s producer Troy Allison invites audience
members to “Step aboard Timeless Legends Airlines, settle in and enjoy a flight
of musical fantasy as we take off from South Africa. The Pilot will keep you informed
as we make our way around the world, and you will be treated to songs from each
country as we pass overhead”.
“Our performers
consist of both established and emerging artists,” he continues. “The songs
include all-time favourites and even a few of the latest hits, to ensure there
is something for everyone. The flight will land in Chicago for a brief
intermission. We then take to the skies again on our homeward bound leg. The
music won’t stop and the on-board entertainment will keep you glued to your
seats. So welcome aboard, sit back, relax and make sure that your seat belts are
firmly fastened for this whirlwind transcontinental musical fantasy.”
The cast of Flight of Fantasy includes: Nicco
Venter, Pauline Nel, Shaun Stone, Lorraine O’Brien and Sarah McFarland. Musical
direction is Cedric Borcherds and stage management by Armand Maynard-Joubert.

Flight of Fantasy – A Musical Revue runs at Catalina Theatre on Wilson’s Wharf
from September 17 to 20 at 19h00 with matinees at 14h00 on September 19 and 20.
