Spring month is all
about laughter and romance, and Ster-Kinekor has released three Bollywood
blockbusters to fit the mood. The films are Welcome
Back, Hero and Katti Batti.
The Bhais are back…
Welcome Back is the action comedy
sequel to the successful 2007 film, Welcome,
featuring an ensemble cast that includes Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh
Rawal reprising their roles. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced
by Firoz Nadiadwala. Welcome Back was
shot in exquisite locations including the Middle East, and features some of
Dubai’s most popular resorts.
Hero is a story of love under conflict, starring Pancholi as Sooraj, a
Mumbai gangster who meets Radha (Athiya Shetty), the daughter of the Chief of
Police. One day, Sooraj leads Radha away, telling her that he has instructions
from the police to take her away from the city for some time. Radha discovers
that she’s actually been kidnapped by Sooraj but, as events unfold, the two
fall in love. To what extent will they both go for the one they love? Directed
by Nikhil Advani and produced by Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai.
Katti Batti is a romantic comedy starring Kangana
Ranaut and Imran Khan. This anti-love story follows an architect, Madhy (Khan)
who is in love with Payal (Ranaut) – he loves her carefree attitude to life.
The story revolves around Madhy and Payal’s live-in relationship, until a
sudden turn of events causes them to separate. What follows is sure to test the
fate of their relationship. Katti Batti is directed by Nikhil Advani and produced
by UTV Motion Pictures.
Welcome Back, Hero and
Katti Batti can be seen at Gateway and Musgrave Ster-Kinekor cinemas.
