It is that time of the year! The UKZN School of Arts
presents its best in the music discipline. A
Taste Of Many Tongues is a variety of artists with varied talents from
different parts of Africa.
The audience will experience palates from isiZulu (South
Africa), Chopi (Mozambique), and Shona (Zimbabwe) with the experiences of AMD 1
(expressions of Zulu/ Xhosa music and dance languages), AMD 2 (expressions of
Chopi music, drumming and dance languages) and AMD 3 (expressions of Shona
instrumental music language).
The dedication of the three ensembles on one
stage is a must see, as it brings a new collection of virtuosos in the African
music scene.
The lunch hour concert takes place on October 19 at 12h15 in
Howard College Theatre.
