(Christopher Vale &
pianist Neil Krog)
Rhumbelow Theatre presents Love And Other War Games with Christopher
Vale and pianist Neil Krog, a musical revue offering music and laughter to
chase the foul spectres of death and war from our minds.
Chris (with a voice like Josh Groban’s) and Neil state: “Love
has many faces. Love of country. Romantic Love. Obsessive Love. Unfortunately
some of those faces involve broken flatware and golf clubs snapped in two. Or
shrapnel and death. Yikes.”
With songs to suit every mood, from West Side Story to Shrek: The
Musical (with some Adele thrown in for good measure), Love and Other War Games is a fun night on the battlefield Romance,
reminding us why we love in the first place, and also, some of the stupid
things we do in the process.
Performances take place tonight and tomorrow (October 16 and
17) at 20h00 and on Sunday (October 18) at 14h00. Tickets R120 (R100 pensioners
