Families are invited to come down to uShaka Marine World
where they will be led through a scary maze to the Wreck Aquarium in the
Phantom Ship whilst trick or treating with uShaka’s Halloween witches and
dragons from 16h00.
At 17h00, Halloween guests will be spirited off to the Dolphin
Amphitheatre for a show that features Gambit and his finned family. Gambit is
the largest bottlenose dolphin in a southern African aquarium and is an
officially acknowledged eThekwini Living Legend in his own right. The dolphins
will appear with Liesl Coppin as Grelawyth the Wicked Witch, Caitlin Kilburn as
Felicity the Friendly Witch as well as Gravenus the Green Dragon and Esmeralda
the Pink Dragon. Added to the fun are some delightful puppets operated by Chris
Randall and Peter Court.
uShaka’s Halloween events takes place today and tomorrow (October
31 and November 1) starting at 16h00 for the Trick or Treat through Village
Walk and scary aquarium tour followed by the Halloween Dolphin Show at 17h00.
