DStv customers on
the Indian packages are in for a treat, as MultiChoice has announced the
upcoming launch of a refreshed offering to the South African Indian community,
which includes an additional three channels.
DStv Indian
customers can look forward to a combination of North and South Indian channels
into a single DStv Indian package for just R319 per month or R205 as add on to
another DStv package.

community is very important to us – this is why we’ve reviewed our offering
based on their feedback and created the new DStv Indian package. We thank our
Indian customers for their loyal support over the years and trust you will
enjoy the three additional entertainment channels,” said Mark Rayner, COO for
MultiChoice.
The three channels
which will be added to the DStv Indian package when it launches on October 15 are
Colors, Star Tamil and Star Hindi.
Colors is a general entertainment Hindi channel
with English subtitles offering great content like The Anupam Kher Show,
Krishna Malram, Meri Aashiqui Tum se Hi and many more family
favourites.
The two Star
channels (Star Tamil and Star Hindi) will showcase Star Network’s
premium content from October 15 to November 30 to allow customers to
familiarise themselves and get up to date with existing shows. From December 1,
2015, these channels will change to Star Vijay and Star Plus.
Customers can look forward to shows like Mahabharat, MasterChef India,
Coffee with Karan, Nach Baliye and SuperSinger.
Existing DStv North
Indian or DStv North-South Indian customers will automatically be changed to
the new DStv Indian package on October 15, 2015.
Existing DStv South
Indian customers will continue to receive the DStv South Indian stand alone or
add on package. MultiChoice is also adding Star Tamil to this package.
This package will not be available to new customers or customers who disconnect
for more than 90 days.
