BAROQUE 2000

The seventh concert of the 2015 Baroque 2000 Series will take place on November 22 at 11h00 at the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery.

Guest artist will be the Odeion Vocal Consort from Bloemfontein under director Lance Phillip.

The programme includes Tomaso Albinoni’s Concerto in E Op 5 No 9; Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber’s Balletti Lamentabili a 4 and Henry Purcell’s Fantasia upon one note. The choral items will include Magnificat (anonymous) and Dietrich Buxtehude’s Herzlich lieb hab ich dich, o Herr.

Tickets R120 at the door and there is ample and safe parking available.
