The next recital for the Friends of Music takes place on
November 10 and features the Kayser Quartet and David Smith. The performers are
experienced, talented Durban based musicians and include Geza Kayser (violin),
Jitske Brien (violin), Claire Hamilton (viola), Nigel Fish (cello) and David
Smith (harpsichord, piano).
The programme will include works by Beethoven, Kosviner,
Zorniger, Frieden and Schumann.
The Prelude Performer of the evening will be Shruti Teeluck.
The recital takes place at 19h30 at the Durban Jewish
Centre, 44 K. E. Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban. Tickets R70 (R60 FOM Members and R20 Orchestral
and Students). Booking is at Computicket. There is safe parking.
