Enjoy a traditional Christmas gathering with carols, words
and song when Carols for Christmas with Richard Cock is staged at St Agnes
Church in Kloof on December 10.
South African music maestro Richard Cock has become known as
'Mr Music' through his generous and friendly manner of bringing people
together, uplifting spirits through the joy of music. In this concert he will act as the host and
lead the audience in singing favourite carols, present readings, both sacred
and secular, and will also sing his favourite popular Christmas songs and to
raise the roof in the singing of carols.
Additional musical delights will be provided by Maritzburg pianist,
Christopher Duigan, celebrated organist Christopher Cockburn and one of South
Africa’s rising stars on the musical horizon, Cape Town tenor, Lukhanyo Moyake,
who sings O Holy Night and other
religious material.
Carols for Christmas
with Richard Cock is staged at St Agnes Church in Kloof at 19h30 on
December 10. Tickets R120 include refreshments at interval. Secure parking will
