(John Didlick, Gary
McKenzie & Grant Bell)
The Gee Jays – Gary McKenzie, John Didlick and Grant Bell - celebrate
their 30th year together this year, and still appear to be as popular as ever.
As Christmas draws closer and the need to celebrate becomes
more apparent, it’s time to re-kindle the spirit of love and romance at this
festive time of year. To this end, The Gee Jays have compiled a lighthearted
look at all things “Love and Festive” which they will present at Tina’s Hotel
in Kloof this coming weekend.
Let There Be Love
is a musical comedy compilation of love songs from all eras and genres knitted
together with comical banter and festive frivolity. It’s designed to help you
wind down from a busy year and get into the festive spirit. Expect to see the
usual merriment, mirth and eye twinkling. It’s described as “a perfect evening
of festive romantic escapism”.
The show includes songs like Hello Young Lovers, Can’t Help Falling In Love, Love Potion No 9, Love
Grows, Let Your Love Flow, To Love Somebody, That’s Amore, Love Is In The Air,
Let Your Love Flow, Love Is All Around,
Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and of course – a couple of Christmas
ditties thrown in for good measure.
