DISTILLERY 031 MUSIC SESSIONS



The Still Sessions is a new monthly music and dining experience presented by Durban’s first craft distillery, Distillery 031, and facilitated by iSupport Music Business. Kicking off the 2016 live music programme is guitar virtuoso Dan Patlansky on January 28, followed by Mozambican bass player, Ildo Nandja with his album launch on February 4.

Dan Patlansky has been the support act for Joe Satriani’s last 25 dates of this European Tour. Patlansky was selected as special guest on the European and UK legs of his Shockwave Tour 2015 taking in 25 shows across ten countries from October 9 to November 10, 2015. Amidst rave reviews from European music press on the back of this tour, Patlansky’s 2015 UK album release Dear Silence Thieves, and 2012 album 20 Stones both reached the UK ITunes Top Twenty Blues Albums in the first week of November 2015.

Patlanksy has also confirmed headline performances at London’s renowned venue The Borderline, as well as at the Planet Rockstock Festival in Wales in December 2015. An eight-show joint tour with British blues rockers King King is planned for May 2016 as well as a further 18 European shows in June 2016 are confirmed as part of the European launch of his new album Intro Vertigo which is being released worldwide in March 2016.
