The current exhibition at the Durban Art Gallery is Hillside House – an exhibition of works
by staff and students from the Centre for Visual Arts. This runs in Gallery 4
until February 7.
Two exhibitions will follow this month:
February 11 at 18h00 in Gallery 2: KwaZulu-Natal Collections an exhibition of works from the
Department of Arts and Culture permanent collection
February 25 at 18h00 in Gallery 1: From Codesa to present – an exhibition
based on works from community art workshops at the INK Creative Centre.
The Durban Art Gallery is situated on the 2nd floor of the
Durban City Hall on Anton Lembede Street, opposite the Playhouse complex. Operating hours are Monday to Sunday
and entrance is free. The operating hours are: Monday to Friday from 08h00 to
16h00, Saturdays 08h30 to 16h00, Sundays and Public holidays 11h00 to 16h00.
