KZN PHILHARMONIC IN KLOOF

The celebrated KZN Philharmonic Orchestra will play for the opening concert of Christopher Duigan’s Music Revival monthly concert series on Thursday (January 28) in Kloof.

This magnificent all-Mozart programme will see the orchestra performing in a chamber format, without conductor, in the atmospheric St Agnes Church. The programme features Concertmaster and popular soloist Joanna Frankel (violin) in the Violin Concerto No 5 in A major and Christopher Duigan (piano) in the Piano Concerto No. 12.  Both works are scored for strings with oboes and French horns. Completing the programme is Mozart’s Symphony No. 15 and the evergreen serenade Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

This unique concert sees the orchestra on a regional excursion to Kloof and takes place at January 28 at 19h30 at St Agnes Church, in Abelia Road in Kloof. Tickets R120 including refreshments at interval.

Booking is essential - as places are limited – through Wendy at St Agnes Church Office on 031 764 2037. There is secure parking.
