MY LONDON STORY

(Cat Simoni)

My London Story! starring Cat Simoni and featuring the hits of Andrew Lloyd Webber, has two performances at Rhumbelow Theatre on February 7 as part of Rhumbelow’s Sunday Soiree Season.

Devised and directed by Paul Spence, this is the true story of how Simoni's life in London changed overnight from unknown “BSc South-African girl” crunching numbers in the City and “drinks down at the pub on a Friday night”, to a five-star “diva”, delivering top-class performances at the Steinways of London's swanky venues; The Ritz, Dorchester, Carlton, Mayfair, Park Lane Intercontinental and Berkeley Square Casino.

Simoni’s entertaining story of her crazy showbiz rollercoaster ride is at once spicy, irreverent and hilarious as she suddenly finds herself rubbing shoulders with the international jet-set and crème de la crème; high society's rich, eccentric and infamous!

The programme includes Andrew Lloyd Webber's finest showstoppers from his greatest West End shows, Evita, Sunset Boulevard, Chess, JC Superstar, Aspects of Love, Tell Me On A Sunday and Phantom of the Opera.

Performances take place on February 7 at 14h00 and 18h30. Tickets R140 pp (R120 pensioners/block bookings of 8 or more). Booking is at Computicket or contact Roland on 082 499 8636 or roland@stansell.za.net or events.durbantheatre.com
