With less than two months to go until Splashy Fenners start
setting up camp in the beautiful belly of the Splashy Fen Trout Farm in
Underberg, event organisers, Impi Concept Events, are thrilled to announce the
next batch of confirmed artists who will perform at the iconic four-day music
festival this Easter.
Civil Twilight, Jeremy Loops, Shortstraw Band, Albert Frost,
Arno Carstens, BCUC and Rubber DUC are set to join an already exciting line-up
that includes the likes of internationally acclaimed Xavier Rudd, South African
favourites Mango Groove, Good Luck, Dan Patlansky, The Kickstands, and many
more.
The men from Cape Town that make up Civil Twilight have been
plying their trade in the USA for many years now and have developed a renowned
international following.
“It’s an absolute privilege to have Civil Twilight perform
at this year’s festival. We know fans will not be disappointed with this 2016
headliner,” says Stu Berry, Festival Director. “On top of that, the likes of
Albert Frost with his unique style of blues rock, and Gauteng-based BCUC are
going to be some of the names to look out for in our performance line-up.”
Four exciting stage arenas will provide fans with both a
visual and audible treat as over 90 artists and bands showcase their musical
talent.
There really is something for everyone at this year’s
Splashy Fen. From the super-sized Main Stage to the hugely popular Acoustic
Stage to a different experience altogether at the unique River Stage; now a
fully operational setup as opposed to previous years, and then for those
looking for some foot-stomping beats, the Electric Boma is sure to impress.
Splashy Fen 2016 - The Revival takes place from March 24 to 27
in the picturesque setting of Underberg.
General Admission Phase 1 tickets are available for R750 per
person and R795 per person for General Admission Phase 2, with some exciting
camping options soon to be announced. More information can be found at www.splashyfen.co.za
