Distinguished Israeli pianist Aviram Reichert will give a recital at Howard College on February 19.

His programme will consist of works by Schubert and Franck – Four Impromptus, Op. 90, and Sonata in A minor D784 by Schubert, and the Prelude Chorale and Fugue by Cesar Franck.

Reichert played in Durban a year ago and generated much enthusiasm with a recital for Friends of Music and a performance with the KZNPO of Rachmaninoff’s second piano concerto. In recent years he has won a big reputation with performances in Europe, the United States and the Far East.
