Distinguished Israeli pianist Aviram Reichert will give a
recital at Howard College on February 19.
His programme will consist of works by Schubert and Franck –
Four Impromptus, Op. 90, and Sonata in A minor D784 by Schubert, and the
Prelude Chorale and Fugue by Cesar Franck.
Reichert played in Durban a year ago and generated much
enthusiasm with a recital for Friends of Music and a performance with the KZNPO
of Rachmaninoff’s second piano concerto. In recent years he has won a big
reputation with performances in Europe, the United States and the Far East.
The recital takes place at 19h30 on February 19 at Howard
College, University of KZN, Durban which has excellent acoustics, comfortable
