An ensemble of hilarious funnymen have cooked up and
authentic, Durban-style comedy feast and are ready to serve it on local comedy
fans over the Easter weekend at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre – KZN’s house of funny.
In the mix for the outrageously funny comedy fest, Curry Balls, are Jason Goliath, Nicholas
Goliath, Neville Pillay and Masood Boomgaard, amongst others.
The Brothers’ Goliath are known for their numerous TV
appearances on Comedy Central and
have appeared locally and abroad. They also recently performed to sold-out
crowds across the country with their hit show Aweh Mzansi. The comic explosion also features radio jock Neville
Pillay and alter ego Top Dan and Masood Boomgaard who need no introduction to
local audiences. Comedy fans are promised side-splitting laughter as the
comedians offer their offbeat insights into life in South Africa, addressing
stereotypes and relaying the joys and aggravations of living in the country’s
melting pot of cultures.
The Curry Balls Comedy Festival runs from March 25 to 27
nightly at 20h00. Tickets R120 booked through Computicket, Checkers and Sibaya
Box Office.
