Due to the exceptional demand for tickets and the traffic
issues in the Pietermaritzburg city precinct last Sunday, Music Revival will repeat
this programme on March 11 and 13.
Christopher Duigan plays a splendid selection of music by
two of the greatest Romantic poet virtuosos of the piano; Frederic Chopin and
Franz Liszt. The selection includes the popular Ballade No 3, Waltz in A minor,
3 Etudes from Op. 10 by Chopin with a selection of music by Liszt including the
beguiling Concert-Etude ‘Un sospiro’.
The performances take place as follows:
March 11 at 19h30 at 35 Montgomery Drive, Pietermaritzburg. For
those attending the concert only the ticket is R100 with music starting at 19h30.
Tickets at R150 included a light meal, on offer from 18h30. Guests are invited
