Life always has a way of surprising one when they least
expect it, and television icon John Stamos knows this better than anyone else.
That’s what makes him the perfect fit for the new comedy Grandfathered, starting on M-Net on June 1 at 19h30.
The series follows the tale of a confirmed bachelor, Jimmy
Martino (played by Stamos), who happens to be a successful restaurateur, and is
used to being the most suave, most handsome and most single person in the room.
He’s a regular man-about-town- right up until his long-lost 25-year-old son,
Gerald (played by Josh Peck, The Mindy
Project) strolls into his life, with a baby daughter named Edie. Now the
blissful bachelor must abandon his easy life of self-indulgence and get used to
the idea of going straight from single to grandfather in six seconds flat.
Grandfathered is
created and written by Daniel Chun (The
Office). The series is executive-produced by Chun, Dan Fogelman (Galavant, The Neighbours) and Stamos.
Chris Koch (Modern Family, Galavant)
serves as director and executive producer.
