The Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert planned for May 8,
in the company of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra in the Durban Botanic Gardens
has been postponed for one week due to anticipated wet weather.
The concert will now take place on May 15 at 14h00.
Set to entertain families and friends as they celebrated
Mother’s Day, Old Mutual Music at the Lake proudly presents the KZN
Philharmonic Orchestra featuring celebrity muso Arno Carstens and special guest
Chloe Clark, with a bouquet of live music-making in the magical setting of
Durban’s Botanic Gardens.
Arno Carstens of Springbok Nude Girls fame, and Chloe Clark
who featured until recently in Team Khan on The Voice SA, will join forces with
the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic (‘Africa’s Premiere Orchestra’) to entertain
patrons.
Highlights include Arno’s biggest block busters: Emergency; Another Universe; Blue Eyes
and Hole Heart, with Chloe adding a feminine
touch with L-O-V-E; Doo Bee Doo, and
other hits.
The KZN Philharmonic under the baton of Maestro Lykele
Temmingh will accompany Arno and Chloe, and will also play some highlights its
forthcoming season, including Shostakovich’s spectacular Festive Overture and a
short movement from Beethoven’s 8th Symphony.
The concert takes place on May 15 at 14h00 in the Durban
Botanic Gardens. Tickets: presold R140 (R160 on the day). Children 8 to 12
years R60 (under 8 free).

Gates open at 13h00 for presold ticket holders, and at 13h30
for on-the-day sales. Children are welcome to enjoy some fun & games at
Kidzone. A variety of food and soft refreshments will be available to purchase.
Picnic blankets, camp chairs, cooler boxes are allowed.

gazebos, pets, balls, bikes, scooters, weapons, hubbly bubblies or illegal
substances.
