“What were they thinking?” Has the thought ever crossed your
mind when you are listening to one of your favorite hit songs on the radio or
in your cd collection?
That s what inspired the concept for Fearless Productions’
latest offering The Story Behind The
Story which will run at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof from June 3 to 12.
“With video and audio clips, we delve deep into the story
behind those smash hits that keep us captivated, even years after the release.
We hear from the original artists and producers while they tell us their
stories behind the songs. There are hilarious stories, some gut-wrenching ones
and some real silly ones, but all in all, it gives us some clearer insight into
what went into the production of these legendary tunes,” say the organisers.
“With the focus predominantly on the 90’s decade, which was
probably one, if not the most diverse to date, we have gathered a fantastic
six-piece band to take you on this journey behind the scenes. There is no song
too big for this production.”
Expect to hear the hits from the likes of Michael Jackson to
Roxette, Alanis Morissette to Vanilla Ice, and from Metallica to Eric Clapton. Also
thrown in is some Meatloaf for good measure and the opportunity to experience
the Macarena, like never before.
The Story Behind The
Story runs at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof over two weekends from June 3 to 12 with
Friday and Saturday shows at 20h00 and Sundays at 14h00. Tickets R100 available
