Join the LIV-Village Choir in a special fundraising concert
together with the Drakensberg Boys Choir for one night only at the Hilton
College Theatre tomorrow (June 20) at 18h30.
From June 26 until September 12, 2016, a group of LIV
children ages 12 to 16 years will be touring the UK and Germany, performing
their latest production LIV the Journey.
This production tells the story of LIV, performed by the children through
dancing and singing. These children tell a very positive and hopeful story
about South Africa that is desperately needed.
LIV founder.Tich Smith, says: "The aim of this tour is
to create awareness for orphan and vulnerable children in the world and to
raise funds for the work LIV is doing. Music plays a large role in the lives of
the children to build confidence, concentration, learn discipline, and to help
grow their musical skill. The choir has helped our children to work in unity
and to appreciate each other. We have seen them grow emotionally and overcome
so much in their lives through the music programme!”
The concert is sure to delight and will include solo
performances by the Drakensberg Boys Choir and the LIV-Village Choir before the
two choirs join forces and present a mass choir item as the grand finale.
