Pietermaritzburg Amateur Music Society (PAMS) announces
the appointment of Nigel Fish the well-known Pietermaritzburg-based cellist as
their new Musical Director following the recent retirement of Dr Robin Walton.
The first joint engagement of the new conductor and
the PAMS choristers will be a concert on June 26 to be held at the Lutheran
Church in Hayfields at 14h30. A showcase for three outstanding soloists
accompanied on the organ by Christopher Cockburn promises an afternoon of rare
pleasure.
Tickets R100 (R50 scholars and students) on sale at the
