Durban Actors Studio is holding an Open Day on July 16.
Durban Actors Studio, formerly Rising Star Performing Arts,
was founded in 2007 and is a successful, internationally recognised, results-driven
performing arts training centre.
Students have performed in professional productions, been
cast in international movies, been voice-over artists for multiple radio
adverts, achieved international recognition via the exam programmes, have
represented South Africa performing at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Scotland
and so much more.
“We offer programmes to suit all ages, skills levels, and
needs,” explains Gill Brunings from the Studio. “From weekly Drama, LAMDA and
Triple Threat Training for 5-18 year olds, to adults evening/weekend acting
courses and self-development programmes, to the Durban Actors Studio, QCF
Certified, “One Year Intensive” for post matric students who desire career-centric performance training.
“The Open Day is free to attend and is your chance to chat
to our team so you can make an informed decision as to which programme is right
for you or your child, and register.”
The Durban Actors Studio’s Open Day runs from 12h30 to 18h00 on July 16 at 168 Mahatma Gandhi
