Up and coming singer/rapper and guitarist, Mandy Khoisan
will perform at the Bat Centre for the Miss Durban Colleges Audition Event on July
9.
She will feature songs from her album Born On Day 6, including her latest single, Vele, which has received airtime on Inanda FM as well as other
local stations around KZN.
Recorded with Boss Brain Entertainment, an independent
upcoming record label and music group from Africa, which was produced by Simmy
On The Beat, Vele draws on Khoisan’s
own experience and is based on how a person can be negatively influenced by
peer pressure and is aimed at those who have been in the same predicament of
having to choose a path, that of right or wrong.
The Miss Durban Colleges audition event presented by Mutiz
Enterprises was open to all colleges in Durban and will see female students
competing in a contest of beauty and intelligence.
Khoisan will appear on July 9 at the Bat Centre from 12
noon. Tickets R30 purchased pre-event on 078 781 6113 and R50 at the door.
