The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music will present the Guitar
Showcase on August 17 at 18h00.
This show will feature the Jazz guitar faculty and students
of UKZN presenting works by and some originals by the participants. The
participants for the evening include Demi Fernandez and students Bethuel
Tshoane, Mitchell Koch, Dimitri Barry, Jess White, Josh Swanson, Akhail Singh,
Nicholas Chinnamunian, Lucky Swele and Rogan Chaz.
This concert will be the last for 2016 in a series of
instrumental showcases planned over the course of the year. Expect to hear
tunes like Just Friends, Speak Low, My
Funny Valentine, Stella By Starlight
and more.
The Guitar Showcase takes place on August 17 at 18h00 (doors
open at 17h30) at The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music (CJPM), Level 2,
Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus . General admission R60 (R40
