Company presents Nothing but The Truth
by Dr John Kani, in a widely-admired learning aid production geared to assist
school learners who are studying the play as a set-work.
Hailed as a “deeply-felt portrait that delicately weaves the
extraordinary and the ordinary in its characters’ lives” (New York Times), Nothing but The Truth is a gripping
investigation into the complex dynamic between those Black people who remained
in South Africa and risked their lives to lead the struggle against apartheid,
and those who returned after living in exile.
The staging by Nobulali Productions of Nothing but the Truth is directed by Hlatsi Mokgonyana and designed
by Neil Coppen. The cast includes Ayanda Khowa-Fali as Thando, Rheem Manganyi
as Mandisa, and Dambuza Nqumashe as Sipho.
The production will have one public performance in Durban in
