The
fifth Series concert of Baroque 2000 will take place tomorrow (September 25).
Programme
features Charpentier’s Te Deum
overture; Telemann’s La Bizarre
TWV55:G2; Leclair’s trio sonata in E minor, Op2 No1; Handel’s Sinfonia HWV 338
and Rebel’s Les caractères de la danse.
The
concert takes place at 15h00 at the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery. Tickets
R140 at the door. There is ample and safe parking available.
The Tea
Garden at the Mariannhill Monastery has re-opened. Baroque2000 concert-goers
can now enjoy special rates for breakfast at R30 (bacon, egg and chips served
with either tea or coffee) or lunch at R30 (Fish and chips / burger and chips -
both served with either tea or coffee)
