The enigmatic thriller Blindspot
kicks off its second season on M-Net channel 101 on DStv on September 22 at 21h30
(Prime Time).
Here’s a quick recap of season 1: a beautiful woman is found
in Times Square, her memory erased and her body fully covered in a series of
coded tattoos: this is Jane (Jaimie Alexander). FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan
Stapleton) and his fellow Agents Edgar Reade (Rob Brown), Tasha Zapata (Audrey
Esparza) and the tech savvy Patterson (Ashley Johnson) begin an ongoing
investigation into solving the complex treasure map of tattoos across her body.
Their explorations lead to the unravelling of an ever-widening web of
conspiracy and corruption, as well as the revelation of Jane’s real identity
and the identity of her deadly consorts.
In the Season 2 premiere, Jane escapes CIA custody, only to
be recaptured by the team, who attempt to convince her to become a triple-agent
within her old terrorist organization. Some major secrets from her past and
present are about to be uncovered. Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Michelle Hurd (Hawaii Five-0) and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) join the cast.
