(Kevin Perkins)
Kevin Perkins,
South Africa’s best loved “white Indian”, will let fly his unique brand of
from-the-hip, straight-talking comedy and unleash his widely-renowned, own-created
Indian persona, Michael Naicker™ at the Wild Coast Sun on October 28 2016 as
part of his Mind the Gap – The
Underground Tour.
With his very
special breed of stand-up comedy, Kevin Perkins aka Michael Naicker™ has a
massive following in South Africa and abroad. He returns to South Africa via
Dubai to treat his local fans to a brutally funny combination of what he calls
his “normal” stand-up comedy and hilarious stories from the street as regaled
through the eyes of the inimitable Michael Naicker™.
Fans will get to
hear his stories of what it's like to relocate to another country, dealing with
pommies and flabby “stekkies” covered in fake tan, a family house smaller than
a RDP “pozzie” and more whats-what. Mind
the Gap – The Underground Tour is an eclectic mix of some old favourites
and his latest material.
“Expect aching
stomach muscles and cheeks because his no-frills-no-fuss, comedic observations
of life and people in South Africa and abroad, skits, songs and riotous jokes
will have you in hysterics. We are thrilled that he will be making his way to
the Wild Coast during his whirlwind tour home,” says Sandi Burger, the PR and
Promotions Manager at the Wild Coast Sun.
Kevin Perkins aka
Michael Naicker™ takes to the stage at the Tropical Nights Theatre at the Wild
Coast Sun at on October 28 at 20h00. Tickets R120 pre booked at
