National Arts Council of South Africa, the AUC presents their almost-new comedy
Super Mokoena! Get ready for the
flight of your life, as you meet the Man of Steel in a way you never have
before! Thrills, chills, spills, and something else that rhymes with those
other three! Laughter, hilarity, shadow puppets and bromance!
Follow the story of a boy from another world as he lands in
South Africa – starting off life in Umlazi, and then steps up to take up the
mantle of South Africa’s next best thing since the gas braai!
A comic treat that is not to be missed, created by an
all-star team literally drowning in their accolades, and the production company
that brought you The Compleat Wrks of
Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) and Birdman.
Super Mokoena! Is written
by Marc Kay, directed by Clare Mortimer and designed by Bryan Hiles who appears
in the show with Adam Dore and Mthokozisi Zulu.
Super Mokoena takes
place at the new theatre, the Isilulu Incubator, at 76 Clark Road in Glenwood,
Durban. Performances are on October 29 at 17h00 and October 30 at 11h00. Tickets
