The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway is on its ‘final
countdown’… not only to 2017, but to when it permanently closes its big wooden
doors on December 31.
With less than three weeks and 20 shows remaining at
the popular mall venue, patrons are urged to book now for one final foot-stomping,
table-banging party. The theatre’s final production, Hollywood Walk Of Fame,
features the greatest songs from the greatest movies, and is the perfect
parting shot – it offers great music, vocals and dancing in a high-energy, fun
family show.
The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway’s Christmas Eve show (December
24) has become a tradition with many families who choose to see in the big day
in a festive, family-friendly environment. Domestic goddesses are summonsed to
cast aside dishes, as a carefree evening at The Barnyard is the perfect
antidote to holiday mayhem. The show will entertain children of all ages, take
grandparents on a trip down memory lane and impress out-of-town visitors… all
you need to do is kick back and relax.
The theatre will open at 18h00 and the show will start
at 20h00, tickets will cost the usual R165 pp and there is limited
availability.
An additional show is also being staged on Family Day
– December 26– and tickets will cost R165 per person.
(The Barnyard
Theatre at Gateway’s final show will take place on New Year’s Eve, December 31,
and is fully booked.)
Tickets are R165 pp from Wednesdays to
Saturdays (R130 pp on Tuesday night). Unfortunately, the final Sunday matinee
show is also sold out. For bookings and enquiries, phone The Barnyard Theatre
