The theme for the 2017 KZNSA Members exhibition is CHARACTER

a person seen in terms of a particular aspect of character”
Artists must be a member of the society to enter and only
one submission per member will be accepted. While there are no limits with
regards to medium, discipline and/or scale, artists are requested to check with
the Gallery Administrator whether the gallery can accommodate their artwork
medium, discipline and/or scale.
Submissions can be made during the period January 13 to 15.
All artworks are to be accompanied by a submission form. Entries close midday on January 15.
A panel of judges will award the Joan Emmanuel Family
Floating Trophy and prize money to the winning artwork. The runners-up will also
receive a share of the R20,000 prize generously donated by the Emmanuel Family.
The judges may consider originality, theme interpretation and technical ability
when reviewing the work.
KZNSA Annual Members’ Exhibition 2017 runs from January 17
to February 5. The KZNSA is situated
