Soulful Lira and
rocker Arno Carstens join the line-up for M-Net and Friends music
specials
Throughout December
2016 and January 2017, M-Net will treat viewers to a fun-filled five-part music
series showcasing chart-topping musicians and their famous muso friends.
Three of these
music specials have already been recorded featuring big names such as Bobby van
Jaarsveld, Jack Parow, Shoo-Wop Shop, Dozi, Kahn and The Parlotones, Vusi
Mahlasela and Swing City to name a few. If you live in Gauteng and haven’t had
the chance to attend these star-studded musical specials yet, you still have
time. Two show-stopper concerts with The Voice SA coach Lira and with one of
South Africa’s best known rock stars, Arno Carstens will be recorded in
December.
Soulful singer Lira
will be joined by A-list friends on the Opera Stage at the State Theatre in
Pretoria on December 14 singing a medley of some of her and her guests’ most
well-known songs. The former front man of the Springbok Nude Girls, Arno
Carstens, will be joined on stage by headline acts such as Zolani Mahola from
Freshly Ground, rocker extraordinaire Francois van Coke and Ard Matthews, among
others, on December 16 at the same venue.
The M-Net and
Friends shows will be screened exclusively on M-Net 101 on DStv Premium at 17h30
on the following dates:
