Music Revival is closing off the year in a fitting fashion
with concerts featuring the talents of ‘Maritzburg pianist, Christopher Duigan,
and soprano, Bongiwe Madlala, on December 29 and December 30.
Both concerts will take place at Casa Mexicana at 35
Montgomery Road, Pietermaritzburg.
Duigan will play a fun and easy going selection of music
from his recent and forthcoming projects, including Latin-American numbers,
Scott Joplin rags, music by Chopin and several seasonal improvisations.
Madlala will sing music by Puccini and the Christmas favourite
O Holy Night.
December 29: Doors open at 19h30 with the concert at 20h00.
Tickets R120. Take your own wine and drinks.
December 30: Music lovers can enjoy both the concert and a
three-course meal prepared by chef, Chris de Bois. The meal will be served from
19h00 and the concert is 20h00. Doors open at 18h30 and tickets are R230. For those
wishing to book for the concert only, tickets are R120. You can book a table
for four people or more but other seating is unreserved. Guests should bring
their own wine.
