(Locnville a.k.a LCNVL)
Wet ‘n Wild at uShaka Marine World will be rocking its
slides on March 25 with the Wolf Pack, a hot line-up of South African local
talent, featuring Aewon Wolf, Sketchy Bongo, Kyle Deutsch, Kaien Cruz,
Locnville, Khumz and much more together with national radio station 5fm, who
will be broadcasting from 10h00.
Bringing down the house will be Arnold Phillips, South
African rapper and songwriter, better known by his stage name Aewon Wolf, who
will be performing his many hits. He will also be introducing Kaien Cruz whom
he collaborated with on the latest hit number They, produced by Sketchy Bongo. This is precisely the song the
rapper needed to stand out from the crowd, judging by the radio play he has
been receiving.
Joining him on the stage, Sketchy Bongo, who needs no
introduction, is an essential part of the wolfpack which consists of a group of
producers, performers, rappers and Kwaito artists. He is also on his way to
being acknowledged as South Africa’s very own Timberland, due to producing many
number one hits, and having worked with top South African artists; AKA, Da Les,
Aewon Wolf and many more. Sketchy’s hit collaboration with Shekhinah Let you Know made the BBC Radio 1
playlist, which turned out to be the big break that saw him sign a record deal
with Ultra Music.
Popular Durban boy, Kyle Deutsch, vocalist and smart
collaborator, a finalist in the Idols SA
contest, and a song maker with a hit making touch, is also sure to bring a
captivating performance to this party in the park. He has collaborated with DJ
Qness on My World and with Shekinah
on Back to The Beach and has also
released a number of his own songs such as Can’t
Get Enough, amongst others.
Another hot performance sure to thrill fans will be from
South African electro hop music duo and identical twin brothers Andrew and
Brian Chaplin, popularly known as Locnville a.k.a LCNVL. These
singer/songwriters, producers and musos have released a number of hits
including their latest, Grapevine and
Cold Shoulder.
