Baroque 2000's next concert, once again
featuring renowned Cape Town harpsichord virtuoso Erik Dippenaar, is on June 4
at the Church of the Monastery Mariannhill. Please note that the starting time
is 15h00.
Dippenaar will direct from the keyboard his
arrangement of Handel's organ concerto op 4 no 5, and also his own harpsichord
concerto after Handel, Thomas Arne and John Stanley. The other works, directed
by Ralitza Matcheva, are the overture to Handel's opera Rinaldo, Geminiani's Concerto Grosso in E minor, William Boyce's
Symphony no 2 and Corelli's Concerto Grosso op 6 no 1.
