MultiChoice is bringing the best of DStv
entertainment on-the-go to Compact and Extra customers – wherever they are and
whenever they want it.
DStv Now is entertainment on the move.
Previously, streaming Live TV and accessing Catch Up via DStv Now was only
available to Premium customers. These features are now available to DStv
Compact and Extra customers at no extra cost.
By downloading the app to your cellphone,
or logging on via your desktop browser, you get to watch Live TV, see the full
DStv TV Guide, enjoy DStv Catch Up content (via streaming or download) and
manage your account at your convenience.
The Live TV and DStv Catch Up content on
DStv Now will be as per the package you are on.
DStv Extra customers now have access to 47
channels on the go, while DStv Compact customers will get 37 channels (DStv
Premium customers have access to 64 channels). This includes live streaming of
package-specific SuperSport channels, and access to familiar Mzansi Magic
favourites like Isibaya, The Queen, Lockdown, Our
Perfect Wedding and Date My Family.
You can register up to four different
devices for DStv Now on the same account. Getting set up is easy: you’ll need a
Connect ID that you can create on Now.DStv.Com or through the DStv Now app.
Download the app from the Google Play
Store or Apple App Store
for your mobile device or tablet, or visit dstv.com/now.
Once you’re on DStv Now, click ‘Register’
and then:
- Click ‘Yes’ to indicate that you’re a DStv customer
- Enter your ID or passport number
- You’ll now be sent a one-time pin to the mobile number associated with your DStv account
- Use the one-time pin to complete your registration
- Enter your first name and email address, then create your password
- Login to DStv Now and enjoy!
MultiChoice has also made screen casting
available through Chromecast on Android to enable customers with the relevant
devices to cast DStv Now to their bigger television screens.
