ARTS INTERACTIVE: IAN MAGINNIS



Arts Interactive’s next get-together will feature Ian Maginnis who will give a talk titled The Importance of Understanding Technical Aspects of Artists’ Materials.

A talk that aims to reinforce how sound technical competency without doubt produces brighter/cleaner colours and increases the longevity of paintings. It will cover oils, acrylics, watercolour, gouache, brushes, canvas and watercolour paper.


Arts Interactive takes place on June 21 at 18h00 for 18h30 at the College Rovers Rugby Club, Kings Park Stadium, Jacko Jackson Drive in Durban. Entrance R100 pp. There will be car guards in attendance and the area is safe with adequate parking right outside. Bring your own wine and pay R30 corkage. There is standard wines and alcohol on sale at the venue.
