Running on the History Channel Dstv 186 on Wednesdays from July 19 at 21h10
will be Alone: Lost & Found.
Alone: Lost & Found builds off the success of Alone, the boldest and longest survival
experiment ever captured on television.
Just as
in Alone, 10 hardcore survivalists will
be dropped into the unforgiving wilderness of the Pacific Northwest - but that
is where the similarities end. These 10 participants are comprised of five
competing teams; brothers, fathers and daughters, and best friends who all have
unbreakable bonds.
Unbeknownst
to the competitors, they will be split and dropped off as individuals, equipped
with nothing but a backpack and camera gear. In order to ‘win the game’, they
must mobilise, find each other, and survive on the island together longer than
the other competing pairs. They will face extreme isolation and psychological
distress both individually and together as they plunge into the unknown,
self-documenting their experience along the way. Can they work together, or
will the strength of their bond crumble beneath the anvil of Mother Nature?
